A visit to Drago
I'm in Puerto de la Cruz. I've come to see this town (Icod) because it is famous for the wines it produces, as well as for having a park dedicated to the Drago, the species which is native to Tenerife. It is about 18 meters tall and has a circumference at the base of the trunk of more than twenty meters and more than three hundred major branches. The trunk is enormous, it can grow up to 6 m. tall. In the town square the party atmosphere is that of Caranaval 2012, with posters everywhere and people mounting the stage for the presentation of the Queen of the Carnival
