A fascinating site

This site is of the 28 Viking churches still in existence, and the largest in the province of Sogn og Fjordane.

Located in the town of the same name, next to the Firth of Dreams (Sognefjord), is this twelfth century church. Less well-known is the church of Urnes, a World Heritage Site, which is as spectacular as this.
