King's Island

King's Island is a suburb of Limerick, Ireland. Limerick is a city founded by the Vikings. It was then Norman. That was when it acquired its prestige and wealth, in King's Island, King Island. The River Shannon runs on one side and on the other is the Abbey River. On the island is King John's Castle, which has a very interesting museum, exposing the remains of Viking colonies that were found underneath. Also St Mary's Cathedral, which is 800 years old. Previously, the entire city of Limerick fit in this island, and was a walled city. Now there is not much of the old city, or the walls that protected it.
