La tour du sud Hotel

The Tour du Sud is a medium sized hotel next to the main mosque in Agadir. The neighbourhood is called Nouveau Talborjt, and it's a nice place, with a lot of locals, and not many tourists. The hotel stands in a renovated building (formerly Hotel de Paris). It's a two-star hotel with clean rooms, and fairly cheap as it's farther from the beach than the big chain hotels. To get to the beach, you can either walk for 20 minutes or take a taxi for 5 (which costs a little more than one euro). There are two courtyards in the hotel, with shady trees. Ask for a room on the ground floor if you're worried
