Luxurios terrace in Casa América
You must remember that the mansion currently housing Casa América has one of the most charming gardens in all of Madrid. For many years, it had a restaurant (from the Paradis chain) and nothing else in the interior patio. However, this year the contract changed and a restaurant from the Le Cabrera chain has taken its place, which, as of late, is a very fashionable establishment. The new restaurant is far more casual than Paradis. The change is for the better (in my opinion).
The highlighted item on the restaurant’s menu is their oysters (supplied by Daniel Sorlut, although at a price significantly higher than those which you could find in the San Miguel Market), the fantastic chocolate meat confite (some mini hamburgers with truffle sauce) and their deserts. A meal costs about 45 euros per person.
