    Elegant rooms

    The Lindeth Howe Country House Classic Hotel is located in London's gardens, just a five minute walk from Lake Windermere.

    This farmhouse belonged to children's author Beatrix Potter, and offers elegant, fully equipped rooms with views of Lake Windermere, as well as the gardens and woodland. They have free Wi-Fi. The dining room has received two AA Rosette awards and serves an English menu. It is above the kitchen and overlooks the gardens and entrance to the terrace. The Beatrix Potter library is stocked with books, guides and brochures.
