Maitai Valley

A fabulous little known valley of New Zealand. River, forest ... wonderful. Ideal for walking if you are staying in Nelson. The path starts at Nelson and is a pleasant place for a walk. The bridges across the river are fantastic. It is ideal for mountain biking. We discovered it because we lived in Nelson, which is right where the road begins.
