Manuel Boaventura Municipal Library

The Municipal Library is situated in the Casa do Arco, a building formed in a 17th century house with 2 small terraced buildings of XVI, linked together through an arc. It was named after the Portuguese writer Manuel Boaventura. Here you can refer to the archive about the history and traditions of the council.There is a reading room, as well as a small auditorium, exhibition hall, and computer room with internet access. It also has a service of "beach libraries" operational during the summer on the beaches of Ofir, Lanterns, Apulia, Suave Mar and Cepães.
