Maverick Helicopters

Time flies when you're in Las Vegas, but it's still worth taking an afternoon to try this helicopter tour. They pick you up from your hotel and, after some safety instructions, you get onboard! There are six people plus the pilot, and the views are spectacular as you fly over the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. After a while in the air, the helicopter lands on a point of the canyon, where they offer a picnic with champagne and give you time to take pictures. For fans of U2, we were also shown the real Joshua Tree. The way back is best because as dusk sets in, you fly over a beautiful, colorful sunset, then finish the journey on the Las Vegas Strip.
