Popular and Cuenca's Best
The Mesón Casa Colgadas, located inside the Hanging Houses of Cuenca, is one of the most popular in town, as you can imagine. Only for the location it is worth eating there. Moreover, it is one of the best places in Cuenca to taste the gastronomical delights of this beautiful region. It actually has won various prizes, including the first prize of the 10th Catering Competition of the government of Castile-La Mancha in 2002, naming it the best restaurant of this region.
It was founded by Pedro Torres, who won the National Gastronomy Prize, and it is currently run by his daughter, Mercedes Torres.
