Mill Straubenhöf

One of the most interesting hiking trails starts from the center of Sasbachwalden and leads to Straubenhöf mill. Now a museum of the heritage of the village, it has been open since 1789. Following the road takes you to some beautiful waterfalls. It is worth taking the path that leads by the meadows to the village, with beautiful views of vineyards. In the area you will find an interesting viewpoint over the town and the Farm Schlafen where you can enjoy spirits and local wines at good prices. I recommend you go to the tourist office to get maps and drawings of the different paths.
