1 review of Monastery of Santo Sepulcro

A really nice surprise

On our final day in Zaragoza, we stumbled upon this monastery and the tour was quite nice. The monastery belongs to the Convent of Santo Sepulcro, an order which has existed since the 12th century but has inhabited this monastery since its construction in the 15th century.

There is a tour available at 11am and costs 2 euros. The monastery is built in the Mudéjar style (built my Muslims living in Christian Spain) and incorporates elements of Islamic architecture and the Aragonese Renaissance. It has a worn but beautiful Moorish-style tile floor and a very peaceful courtyard surrounded by a vaulted corridor.
