Monastery of Santo Domingo in Tui

The monastery of Santo Domingo de Tui is worth a visit just for its beautiful cloister. Dating from the fourteenth century the monastery is built with Mendicant Gothic characteristics: Latin cross plan, highlighted transept and three primary polygonal chapels covered with ribbed vaults and illuminated by high double windows. Aside from its clear architectural and artistic interest I also recommend it for its spectacular city views.
