Mondego Cape Lighthouse

The Cabo Mondego lighthouse was erected between 1855 and 1858, in the Forest Park Serra da Boa Viagem. In 1916 there was a proposal to move the lighthouse, as the existing did not cover the entire coast, so it was moved 1 km to the north, and the former was demolished.
