Dedicted to Joseph Praise Corcianese
The Museo della Pievania (Perugia) is in the church of San Cristobal, built from 1537 in pre-existing walls of Travertine. It is dedicated to the artist Joseph Praise Corcianese, who lived between 1669 and 1737. It hosts an exhibition of paintings hailing from the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, in addition to paintings, processional banners, votive offerings, holy vessels and manuscripts.
