Museum

Opened in 1932, the museum was initially installed Touquet at city hall and then into the heart of the forest, in a building dating from 1930, the Villa Way Side (built in 1925 by architect Henry Leon Bloch). The museum features more than 800 works comprising paintings, photographs and sculptures. The collection is a great mix of both modern and contemporary works. Most of the paintings date from the late nineteenth century and decorate the walls of the ground floor. On the first floor there is a magnificent collection of hundreds of photos on the walls, all signed by Edward Champion (former deputy mayor and first curator of the museum).
