A unique museum
The Ethnographic Museum of Etna (Catania) displays preserved specimens of the flora and fauna of Etna, and also features samples of volcanic minerals and lava samples. A small part of the museum is dedicated to the capturing of a splendid green woodpecker. It is completed by a mycological collection that includes fungi that can be found on the slopes of Etna.
