1 review of Naval Museum, Open Air

Interesting museum

It is an open air museum which rarely exist and surprised me when I first saw it. Strolling through, we found several pieces donated by various naval bases such as Ferrol, Mahon, San Fernando, Rota and others. The pieces range from anchors, to propellers, naval artillery, a mine, a torpedo etc. Noted for its size is the main destroyer stick D-62 "Gravina", and a torpedo G7 model donated by the Rota base. Another highlight is one of the guns from the cruiser "Admiral Cervera" and the old cannon donated by the Naval Station Mahon captured in the reconquest of Minorca in 1782. Truly, it was interesting.
