Nice

On our drive to Venice we stopped, both going to and coming back, in the French city of Nice. On the way we arrived at dusk and did not have much time to explore the city, so we settled for a warm evening walking peacefully on the beach. The beach has small round pebbles and can be annoying to walk on it. I imagine that it's better to be wearing sandals.

On the way back we had a lot more time, so we took the bus from the Ibis hotel, which is next to the airport, to the historic city center. We got off the bus at the Hospital bus stop and went straight to the National Theater. We followed the tram tracks and found the city park.
