Old Bridge

The Old Bridge marks an important access point to the walled city through the Portal de la Riera and marked the route linking the Costa Brava with Girona. The bridge consists of two arches over the river Daró and was built by Bishop Francisco Arevalo de Zuazo in 1606. It is marked as a point of interest on the council's website and is certainly worth visiting if you are in the area.
