Peacock hotel

The Peacock is a restaurant and a B and B that is situated in the part of Unawatuna which is closest to the main road. There is not too much noise but you can catch a bus easily and if you come with a lot of luggage it is also more convenient. There are rooms with or without air conditioning, and all have hot showers. The place is literally on the beach, 20 meters from the water, as they rebuilt it after the Tsunami of 2004 without taking into account the safety recommendations to build at least 200 meters from the sea. But no one did in Unawatuna ... the food prices are cheap, there is also internet access, and there are some chairs available for sunbathing.
