7 reviews of Pedestrian Sarandí

A comfortable place, with trees and shops

Great

This pedestrian street was constructed in the old walled city that was built in the year 1992 and has become one of the most popular walkways in the city. It was constructed with a pavement of red cobblestone. It is situated opposite the "Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception" Church or San Fernando de Maldonado as it was initially named. The one located just off the Main Square and Plaza Matriz in colonial times is called San Fernando de Maldonado or Constitution. Here you can find comfortable wooden benches and sidewalks made with a concrete base. There is modern lighting and green spaces and flower beds of many different shapes, small trees growing and even some of the best-known businesses to be found in the area.
