Pietranera Beach

Pietranera Beach is one of the nicest around Bastia, between Erbalunga and Bastia, it's not very big and is still very familiar. In northern Corsica most beaches are stone so are ideal for those who hate sand in their beach bag. Pietranera is frequented mostly by families and locals, and the atmosphere is typically local, people know each other and often converse with visitors. It was the first beach where I swam during my stay in Corsica, and I always remember that first impression: in turquoise water, clear and pure, and with my mouth open, at that time I only had one thing in mind: to dive!.
