P&o

P & O is one of the largest ferry companies in England. The routes to France are mainly Dover-Calais, with about 10 trips a day, and taking about an hour and a half. From Hull you can get to Rotterdam in the Netherlands, or to to the city of Bruges in Belgium. There also crossings to Lame and Dublin in Ireland, and from Portsmouth to Bilbao, Spain. It's late travel, but with gas prices, or if you're loaded with a group of people, it's worth it. Being on international waters, the boat going from Calais to Dover has duty free shops. On board there are places to rest, but no cabin seats, as the journey is very short.
