Portimao Museum

Portimao Museum is in the old Feu cannery, founded in the early nineteenth century on the banks of the River Arade, near the naval club. It's a huge building (5,000 m2), that's completely renovated and dedicated to the historical, ethnographic and industrial city. One of the most striking collections is the underwater archeology. The building also has a temporary exhibition hall, auditorium and documentation center/city history archive. Entrance is 3 €.
