Range of the Alto Campoo

Reinosa is in the region of Alto Campo, and despite being the smallest municipality in the region, it's the head of the region. It's in a plain where the rivers Ebro, Izarilla, and Hfjar meet and is surrounded by mountains. The Sierras de Peñalabra and Hijar to the south and the Isar and El Cordel to the north. The region is famous for its ski resort of the same name, located 24 kilometers away and crowned by the Pico Tres Mares mountains (altitude 2,175 m), which is the highest peak in the region. The ski resort has 32 kilometers of ski runs and 23 trails (10 red, 9 blue and 4 green).
