Recreational Area of Lanhelas

This recreation area is at the top of a hill, between the Portuguese town of CERVEIRA and Vilanova de Caminha. There are wooden tables and fountains, and an excellent view of the mouth of the river Miño. There is also a small exhibition consisting of a skeleton and several sheep with helmets, it's rather odd. In this area the popular Cross of Independence is just a few meters from the road.
