Río Quehueche

I started out as an adopted Livingston native: fishing, diving, catching lobsters, conch shells fish shrimp in the largest wooden schooner named "Cool Goose" with my deceased husband Ricardo Porras "Caracol". After a while I found an ecolodge known as El Chiringuito.

We, with my staff, got 5 stars for all of the requisites to become and transcend into becoming an exquisite ecological hotel & restaurant/bar. Francis Ford Coppola got his inspiration to explore the country & to make another of his dreams come true, The Family Coppola Resorts. He build The Blancaneaux resort, the Tortugas resort and La Lancha on lake Petén Itzá, near Tikal, the Guatemalan Mayan Wonder. That is why that coast is called The Mayan Riviera.
