To realize the importance of this sacred place for me, you need to understand in what state of mind I had arrived in this ashram. My mother died June 18, 2010, of cardiac arrest. I left for India October 1, 2010, evidently in search of answers about her. The man, who can be seen on one of the pictures on the right, saved my life. I have an aunt who was once connected to everything about the esoteric and Hindu spirituality and she recommended that I go to a Guru that she had idolized in the time of her hippie youth. Maybe you've heard of this man because he made a vow of silence for 30 years ... Chandra Swami. On my arrival at the ashram, I completely panicked.
