A city for the wealthy businessmen of Paris

On a visit to Paris, a visit to Saint-Germain-en-Laye would not be the 1st thing you do, but it is an interesting and picturesque town. It is about 20km from Paris, and the cheapest way to go is on the RER line A , which brings you here in about 30 minutes. Saint-Germain-en-Laye is northwest of Paris itself, and there is the idea that in the capital is where many of the wealthy businessmen who have their work in Paris. It is known for being formerly "royal city" of many French monarchs, and at that time many buildings and museums are opened by some of them as the Museum of National Antiquities, opened by Napoleon III.
