Magical night of fire

On the eve of the feast of San Anton which takes place in the town of Ruidera, they celebrate with traditional bonfires throughout the whole town. The nights are lively and maintain the ancient tradition of making bonfires to burn the saint the night before the feast. Neighborhood groups scattered around the town enhance the brotherhood uniting effort and firewood to burn their homes and then enjoy a long evening eating, drinking and singing chants about holy women that always seem to end with a shout repelling bad omens. These chants were originally intended to seek the protection of animals, which was that we relied on for annual nutrition, specifically the suckling pig, which in many cases was the most beloved of the house.
