San Lorenzo Convent

The Convent of San Carlos was the first major construction of San Lorenzo and has been famous since Argentina hosted the troops of General San Martin before a major battle in 1813. Today, it has been converted into a museum which has several showrooms and, if you are lucky enough to go on a day that they allow entry to the top, you can fully appreciate this historic site. You can also take guided tours. The opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 9-6 pm.
