Ligurian seaside town

Camogli is a small Ligurian seaside town. It is on the railway line between La Spezia and Genova and so can easily be reached by public transportation. This town is featured in episode 1 of "The Trip to Italy" with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon.

Camogli is also famous for it's "sagra del pesce" on the second Sunday in May. The fish are cooked in giant frying pan which weighs 3650kg and is 3.85m in diameter. Finally it is the entry point for hiking trails into the Porto FIno national park. Signposted from the train station.
