Simon Bolivar Main Square

Simon Bolivar Main Square, also called the Main Park, it is a colonial-style cobbled square with trees such as kapok and palms. It is dominated by the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and is the nerve center of this small town which became the capital of the region, where there are large cities such as Medellin. You can also find many stalls where you can buy typical local handicrafts. Its previous name was Plaza Fuerte because the Spanish soldiers had parades there.
