Spanish Governor's Palace

This house was never actually a palace. Instead, it was built in 1722 as the office and residence of the commander to protect the Alamo's settlers. More rooms were added at different times, including a shop and a school. A trip here is short and pleasant, and you can admire the typical Spanish architecture and decor.
