Sporting Plage

The beaches lining the Promenade des Anglais have a great character and are private. They are near the Negresco hotel and you have to pay to access. Upon payment, you are entitled to a deck chair, lifeguard, showers, bar, restaurant etc. The rate used to be around 13 euros, but the hotels give discounts. It is also a pebble beach with exceptional water quality. It is recommended to wear sandals to walk around.
