St. Louis Area

The Espace Saint Louis is a cultural center in the historic district of Avignon. It was built near the Palais des Papes when Avignon was the seat of the Catholic Church. The place was for Jesuit novitiate who came to learn theology, it's very quiet and the cloister is XVI century. Over the years and secularism it became a military hospital and nursing home. After a huge renovation in the '90s it reopened as a hotel and cultural center. The center sells theater tickets and concert tickets for the famous festival of the city.
