Tribute to the famous writer
Steinbeck Plaza is one of the major sights in Monterey and is located in the downtown area, not far from the famous Cannery Row which Steinbeck depicted in his works. The plaza pays tribute to the famous writer through small statues and manicured gardens. It also offers a beautiful unobstructed view of the entire Monterey Bay.
