Glen Nevis is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Scottish highlands, dominated by the peak of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Britain. From the bottom of the valley, it is possible to reach a plateau crossed by a river, and there is actually an inhabited house on the other side! The only way to cross the river is to take the suspension bridge which crosses it - but really, it is just a series of cables that you will have to walk like a tightrope walker!
