    A pleasant hotel

    Tamgoute Hotel is in the modern centre of Agadir, in a neighborhood called Nouveau Talborjt that I really like, because it's more authentic than the tourist-infested beach area. It's a pleasant, family-run boarding house, and the owners are very friendly, and will give you lots of information about the city. The rooms cost 100 DH a night, and are simple, with a good quality bed, and hot water in the bathroom. The beach is a 15 minute walk away, and there are several bars and restaurants to eat. Nearby is a CTM office, which sells bus tickets to Essaouira and Marrakesh. For this price, you generally
