    Comfortable and elegant

    If you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy good food and get comfortable, the Temple Sowerby House Hotel is the ideal place. It has a large, elegantly decorated lobby area with armchairs and a chimney that you can spend hours chatting in. You can take a long walk in the Eden Valley or if you prefer you can go shopping in Penrith and Appleby. The rooms are classically decorated and the bedding is high quality Egyptian cotton.
