The Cathedral

One of the most significant and internationally known in the Paracas National Reserve is the Cathedral. It has lots of interesting Heritage is (or at least it used to ...) and consists of a huge rock formation that was formed over the centuries due to erosion from the sea and the wind. It was called "The Cathedral" due to having similar domes as the other cathedrals. Even better, it is surrounded by a blue sea that has such incredible beauty. Unfortunately, currently, only the ruins of the Cathedral can be seen since training was destroyed due to the enormous earthquake that took place in Peru in 1997.
