The Cávado River Estuary

Esposende City is located on the River Cávado where the waters merge with the Atlantic Ocean. The whole entire is included in the Natural Park of the North Coast Portuguese. It is a true sight to contemplate , especially the sunset over the estuary, from the waterfront or from any of the vantage points that surround the city. When the tide is low, a large sand pit can be seen that separates the river bed from the sea, and you can even walk through it. It is a very windy, so it is also very common to see people kitesurfing due to the conditions that allow for it.
