Church of St. Anne (Szent Anna Templom)

3 reviews of Church of St. Anne (Szent Anna Templom)

A reference point in Budapest

The towers of the Church of St. Anne serve as kind of a reference point in Budapest and you can see them from just about everywhere. The church itself is considered to be one of the best examples of Italian Baroque architecture in Budapest. It's located in Buda on the banks of the Danube directly across from the Hungarian Parliament. Construction started in 1740 under Kristof Hamon and it was finished under Matyas Nepauer in 1762.
