Ristorante da Enzo

This restaurant is located near the beautiful cathedral of Modena, in the historic centre. From the menu at the door, you can easily get a feel for the place: classic local cuisine. When you enter you'll be greeted by the friendly owners and waiters, and sitting down will make you feel like you've been invited to a friend's house. The furnishings are simple but a bit old-fashioned - no-nonsense, as the food here is good enough that they don't need to try to trick the customers with special effects. We tried the ravioli with meat sauce, pumpkin ravioli with tomato sauce, gammon and scallops with balsamic vinegar, and dessert trifle, accompanied by a local wine.
