Quirky rifugio. This rifugio can be reached by a summertime shuttle bus from Val di Fassa. It is a rifugio/art exhibit fusion. Look out for the tea tray on the roof, the fake cakes and numerous animals hiding in corners. Plus they also sell legendary biscuits in the shape of the nearby rock spires coated in chocolate. Best washed down with a cappuccino.
