Gordes is a gorgeous town in Luberon, Provence, and probably one of the most well-preserved in the region. The small streets are a real pleasure to walk through, but the best part of Gordes is undoubtedly watching the sun set of the village's stone houses.
I recommend going early to be able to park the car. Many people visit this place, especially during summer.
There are some routes which can be done walking and are perfect to get to know the place. (ask at the information point in order to get a map and be able to follow those routes).
This is a precious town located in the region of Vauclouse in Provence. It's a pleasure walking through the narrow streets with the stone homes. It's on top of a hill which has amazing view of the valley, and to see the town at sunset it to experience something truly magical.
