Cologne Old Town

When we got to Cologne, it was raining so hard, I'd never seen so much water nor the local people so comfortable with it. Once we accepted the rain, we decided that we'd go out and explore Cologne anyways. The thing that caught our attention most was its magnificent and monumental cathedral, both the inside and outside. In the time we had to visit, we spent half trying to photograph the entire Cathedral, which we finally couldn't do. It's a nice town and I fell under its spell!

Not to be missed, though it may be cold, take a walk along the Rhine in the evening to see Cologne illuminated from different viewpoints in the city. After the first ride we decided to take the car to find a point where we could see the city in quiet, sleeping but illuminated for us.
