The YMBA bouddhist is the Young Men Association, taking inspiration from the YMCA. I initially offered activities and accommodation only for men, but now it also has double rooms and is open to couples. Apart from these, there are dormitories, which are very cheap, but they are only available for boys. You must bring or rent your sheets. Downstairs there is a restaurant which is also cheap, where you can eat for roughly 100RS, or 70 cents. They organize cultural activities from time to time, the agenda is available at the tourist information center. I think I can say it is a safe place: We had a drink in the cafeteria and we felt happy and comfortable, leaving my bag, camera, money, passport, everything ..
