All about rafts
The Zattieri del Piave Ethnographic Museumthe (Belluno) attempts to illustrate aspects of the transfer of large amounts of wood tied to the rafts to the valleys of Belluno province, in the Veneto plain and especially Venice. The museum is on 3 levels: in the basement you can visit 3 themed rooms showing the prehistory on the raft, the raft and the raft in ancient literature of the Middle Ages and on the first floor you can witness Venecia en el Piave sawmill facilities.
